PD Contract, Pay, and More

21 April 2024, El Paso, Texas, Steven Zimmerman—On Thursday and Friday, I had the opportunity to speak with more than a few officers with the El Paso Police Department. Each officer recalls my work with the El Paso Herald-Post and police contracts and pay scales. Back then, I was fighting to get anything on a FOIA.

Today, we will publish the documents shared with us at the Jerusalem Press so that there is understanding and transparency (EPPD seemingly practices a selective form of transparency) between the El Paso Police Department and the citizens of El Paso.

It’s sad we must do it this way, especially as the PIO refuses to return our calls. And yes, we’ve called.
