In the world of corporate media and news, the Jerusalem Press is a lone, independent voice seeking to provide news that is free of bias. We refuse to follow corporate media and their paywalls, which charge outrageous monthly fees or high rates to read a single story. Paywalls and fees only line the pockets of shareholders and do very little to bring news to readers. We refuse to put up paywalls or subscription fees.

As we begin to build our reader base and subscriber list, we know that we will have to add some advertising to our site. Our goal and promise is to keep that advertising to a minimum – no more than one or two ads per article. Other sites, after you pay to get in, line their articles with ad after ad. Again, that does the readers a disservice.
