North Korean Military Ready to Open Fire

16 October 2024, Steven Zimmerman – North Korea’s Ministry of Defense has ordered all troops on the border with South Korea to be ready to open fire. This statement comes one day after North Korea blew up sections of the inter-Korean roads and rail lines on its side of the border.

Additionally, North Korea has changed its constitution to specify South Korea as an “absolute enemy.”

On 14 October, Kim Jung Un convened a national defense and security meeting.

During the meeting, a report was presented by the director of the General Reconnaissance Bureau concerning the DPRK’s belief that South Korea and others violated the sovereignty of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Kim Jung Un, after hearing the report, ordered all roads and rail lines with South Korea to be severed and for the military to adopt a more robust attitude towards their military counterparts within the demilitarized zone.

Kim Pong-ju, a former government official who escaped North Korea in the 1990s, provided some insight into what might be happening with the hermit kingdom.

“Kim Jong-un is not well,” says Pong-ju. “His health seems most precarious, and such a situation will cause him to shore up his power within North Korea.”

The first step, we are told, for Kim Jong-un would be to create an enemy that is both close and set to invade the DPRK.

“He will use South Korea, as his father and grandfather have in the past,” says Pong-ju. “Of course, the collective West will remain the enemy as they do not espouse the Juche values system.”

Other sources have said that Kim Jong-un is increasing the military presence along the DMZ while simultaneously crossing into it.

“Just as Kim Jong-un is sending soldiers to Russia in the fight against Ukraine, we will see more incursions of the military within the DMZ, and the blame for such incursions placed upon South Korea and their desire to swallow up the DPRK,” says Pong-ju.

Kim Pong-ju also indicated that cutting rail lines and destroying roads will allow greater control within the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

“We may not know of a certainty,” begins Pong-ju, “but there is a chance that State media within the DPRK will say such measures come after South Korea, or other countries, have attempted to enter the DPRK with malintent.”

“The People’s Republic of Korea is a rogue nation,” said a member of the State Department, under condition of anonymity. “This rogue nation, with its burgeoning relationship with the Kremlin, wants to flex its muscles to show that they are an equal player within world politics.”

It is believed that Kim Jong-un and the DPRK have some type of nuclear weapon, be it an ICBM or a dirty bomb.

“We are reaching a point with the DPRK where we must act,” says the US State Department. “This administration, or the next, is going to have to contend with North Korea, its military, and its leader. Entering North Korea with military forces has not been ruled out.”

The Korean War ended with a peace treaty signed on 27 July 1953. This treaty was signed by the United Nations, China, and North Korea. Essentially, the Korean War has not ended; it is simply under a cease-fire.
