5 April 2025, Las Cruces, New Mexico, Chantilly Zimmerman – Doctor Who season fifteen is approaching at breakneck speed, and I, for one, cannot wait. The BBC and Disney have already announced that Alan Cumming, Christopher Chung, and Kadiff Kirwan, as well as Charlie Condou, are all joining the new season.

Have you seen the trailer for season fifteen? Earth is in the crosshairs, and all of reality is also threatened. The season finale, The Reality War, promises something big is coming this season.

As the season begins, we will see Ncuti Gatwa’s version of the Doctor meeting Blenda, played by Varaduy Sethu, and trying to get her back home. Of course, if you’ve ever watched Doctor Who, you know it won’t be straightforward.

We will also see the return of Ruby Sunad and Susan Triad, played by Susan Twist. Oh, and there will be an Interstellar Song Contest that we are all looking forward to.

When will the new season air? Doctor Who will air on the 12th of April on BBC One, the BBC iPlayer, and Disney Plus.

New Companion: Varada Sethu joins the cast as Belinda Chandra, a new companion for the Doctor.
