Readers Write: Questions for the Chief
There are a few questions that need to be answered for the sole purpose of truth. I believe the deterioration of the El Paso Police Department stems from the many years under Chief Allan’s watch, Chief Pacillas is simply continuing the corruption on the same tracks except under Pacillas watch; the cracks are getting bigger and bigger.
Police: No Transparency – One New Yorker is Ready to Bring It
Over the last few months, the Camps have been put through a living hell by the El Paso Police Department and their fear of transparency, admitting that the Crisis Intervention Team is not sufficiently trained to handle a suicidal suspect.
‘Associated Press’ blasts Own Reporting on Hamas casualty Statistics
The Associated Press released a report on Friday undercutting its own reporting of Hamas’s claim that more than two-thirds of the Palestinian casualties in Gaza have been women and children.

This is real police work based upon true training and compassion. I am disturbed to learn from your articles that this officer’s own Police Department is considering criminal against this Officer for the video being sent out.
EPPD: An Internal Battle
I want to take a moment to comment on Sergeant Camp, what the department has chosen to do, and the track they have placed themselves on. I am a long-time veteran of the El Paso Police Department and am ashamed of what the department is becoming.

From a Reader: Make No Mistake
There is no doubt in my mind that this has been a career pattern of intimidation and getting away with absolute corruption within the ranks of his unit/shift. I often wonder about the story that you wrote in regards to the same Lieutenant not responding to a call from Officers being faced with an active shooter
